Dr. Ernest Rex Tan, Co-Founder and Director of  Dental Surgeons, embarked on his dental career after graduating from the National University of Singapore, and the renowned postgraduate Masters program in Restorative Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Institute in London, UK. This training provided in Dr. Tan a firm foundation in managing the many complex reconstructive and cosmetic challenges that his patients present.
This together with years of transforming and beautifying smiles, has resulted in his acquiring the expertise, experience and artistic creativity required to perform predictable, consistent and successful Smile Makeovers with exceptional cosmetic outcomes.
The most critical factor in success with cosmetic dentistry is the continual learning and refinement of one’s skills through application. This has resulted in consistent and exceptional aesthetic results for our patients. There is ultimately no substitute for experience.
Most important claim to fame – Transforming and beautifying thousands of smiles. Have lost count but possibly over 10000 smiles transformed.
Dr. Ernest Rex Tan is today a key cosmetic dental surgeon in Singapore’s dental scene. He started Dental Surgeons, a household name in the dental industry, and is the first and only dental surgeon in Singapore to perform (and popularise) the revolutionary Britesmile Laser Teeth Whiteningprocedure since 1997.
Dr. Ernest Rex Tan is also an authority in the field of cosmetic dental work, and has recently branded the hallmark of his procedures,  . Dr Tan and his practice have been featured in many publications in the media for their innovations and advance in cosmetic dentistry. |

MRS. GRACE CHONG TAN

Mrs. Grace Chong-Tan, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Dental Surgeons, graduated from the National University of Singapore with an Upper Honours in Sociology. After a stint in the Ministry of Defence’s management consultant’s office, Mrs. Grace Chong-Tan went on a Raffles Scholarship to garner a Masters in Politics (Public Administration and Public Policy) at the prestigious The London School of Economics and Political Science. This training has provided in Mrs. Grace Chong-Tan, a firm foundation and the relevant skill sets that proved invaluable in the setting up and establishment of Dental Surgeons. Mrs. Grace Chong-Tan also served at the Singapore Tourism Board’s CEO’s Office, contributing to the Board’s formulation and implementation of Singapore’s National Tourism Blueprint, Tourism 21, prior to setting up Dental Surgeons in 1997. |
